Also known as The Punk Jacket, the Daily Jacket has been my daily wear for years. I'd say since around 2023 or late 2022. It started as someone's sorority jacket I found at a thrift store and has turned into this. Since I painted over someone else's paint, it tends to peel so I'd been touching up the paint every so often. I've tried everything to seal it, from clear coat spray paint, to Flex Seal nothing really works. I think that once I'm done adding patches to Halford's Monster, I may use some of those leftover patches on here and say it's complete. I also think that after Halford's Monster is more or less complete, I'll start working on the successor to this jacket as I kinda wanna retire it mostly due to 1) The upkeep and repair required for this one and 2) my growing disdain for collars. I like the collar here but ever since I started on Halford's Monster and done away with the collar, I've much prefferred that feel. I just feel like the collars always get sweaty against my neck and then get all gross. On top of all of this the way the paint has been done makes this a very hard jacket to clean as I can't just submerge it. So it's going to be sunset for it sometime soon.
It was also featured in my zine, Ragged in 2023. Here's part of that page:
I have no fucking clue why I put a "Barbie" patch on it.
